After having discovered that my recently acquired Hofner bass didn’t have a zero fret like the German made ones do, I decided to do the modification.  It seemed like a daunting task, and many of my bass playing friends agreed, but I decided to forge ahead and do it.  I made a video documenting the procedure, so I could share it with others.
