Sight Reading is something that I really want to master, so I signed up for the Sight Reading course at TalkingBass. 

Why do I want to become proficient at sight reading?

I don’t want to be stuck with tablature forever comes to mind.  Additionally, there’s always that very slim chance that I might get a studio job audition, at which I’ll be handed a score and asked to immediately play it with no rehearsal.  But the main reason is, I just want to do it for my own satisfaction.

It’s a tough course, with a great deal of practice required.  It’ll take me a long time, but time is something that I have in abundance at the moment.
